Erin Rodgers, Partner
Erin Rodgers is currently a partner with Rodgers Selvera PLLC. A native Houstonian, she obtained her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2007 after earning her Bachelor's of Music in Music Business from Loyola University New Orleans. Her areas of practice include entertainment, nonprofits, intellectual property, and corporate matters. She has extensive professional speaking experience, and has taught college-level copyright and business courses for over ten years. She also collaborates with Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts to create educational programming for artists and arts organizations.
In addition to practicing law, Erin is a classically trained clarinetist, and also plays the piano, accordion, and guitar. Erin has performed as a vocalist with Dave Brubeck and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and currently performs with Houston bands The Wheel Workers and Houston’s Accordion Super Stars, among others. She was recently designated as a Core Artist with Catastrophic Theatre for her work as a composer, arranger, and musician.
Erin also gives her time to the community she loves. She is currently a Representative of the Houston Theater Training Coalition, and serves on the board of Thunderclap Productions. She served many years as the President of Girls Rock Camp Houston, and spent five years as the Publications Editor for the Texas Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the Texas Bar.
